VICENZAORO ALL YEAR
The Vicenza Fair’s three gold exhibitions are changing name from January 2007

Vicenza, 4 July 2006 – The names of all three of the Vicenza Fair’s gold exhibitions are changing name from January 2007. Vicenzaoro1, Vicenzaoro2 and Orogemma will become, respectively, Vicenzaoro winter, Vicenzaoro spring and Vicenzaoro autumn.
‘The change in name of the three exhibitions’, notes the secretary general Corrado Facco, ‘is the result of a gradual development that has led to the three events being drawn closer to the times and dynamics of the fashion world, so now the seasonality also changes’.
Each event is distinguished by specific themes and characteristics.


• Vicenzaoro winter (14 - 21 January) is the key date for the gold-jewellery sector. Its importance is further emphasised by the fact that it opens the international trade fair calendar; it presents the new collections and indicates the new trends of gold creativity. The ‘made in Italy’ label will thus be acclaimed and highlighted by parallel events and interesting debates on the economic aspects of the sector. Oromacchine in the Leonardo pavilion marks the close link between creative skill and technology, which in Vicenza find the ideal home.


• Vicenzaoro spring (12 – 16 May) gives further emphasis to the fashion factor, with trends being verified and new and innovative creations presented. It is the ‘made in Italy’ banner on the world market. The mid-year fair also places greater attention on different ethnic groups and their markets. Asia, the Middle East, East Europe, are the fronts on which to work, investing energies and resources through commercial initiatives and socio-cultural events. In May, too, Oromacchine is an important element in the structure of the show, confirming once again the Vicenza Fair’s role as an essential date for the world of gold technology.


• Vicenzaoro autumn (15 – 19 September) in view of the end of year festivities, the Vicenza Fair’s scintillating showcase presents the best collections created by the more than 1600 exhibitors hosted in the trade fair complex. The stylistic and technological research of Italian manufacturers is again confirmed as the ideal means of approaching the world of fashion and luxury. The qualified buyers and retailers at Vicenzaoro autumn will thus be able to then offer the final consumer all the atmosphere and excitement of an exceptional location through unique products.
